The company is unique in having approval for the P9 light wall specification, permitting staff to carry out under-pressure connections to live mains without the need to shut down and lose production.
All personnel are approved for the National Safety Passport Scheme and carry Safe Control of Operations Approval covering the responsibility for permit to work procedures. They are also approved for hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing of finished fabrications and pipeline diversions.
Health and Safety is paramount within G&J Engineering which has an impressive safety record. The company's safety representative is approved to NEBOSH standards for occupational health and safety training and to SHEA gas requirements for personnel training.
G&J Engineering's safety and quality/environment managers are fully qualified to undertake comprehensive audit and inspection programmes and the company also benefits from additional SHEQ resources supplied centrally by Holleran.
